A candidate was caught cheating in the SSC Delhi Police Constable recruitment exam held at a private college under Partapur police station area in UP’s Meerut on Thursday morning. The company conducting the exam has filed a case in the police station. Sealed the answer sheet and made the case property. MIT College was the center of Delhi Police Constable Recruitment Exam. First shift exam was conducted on Thursday morning at 9 am. After about an hour, Ankur Lodhi, who was giving the exam in lab number three, became suspicious of a candidate. He noticed that the candidate was copying from the slip. They caught him. But he swallowed the slip. Another slip was recovered from him during the search. He was identified as Rishabh son of Devendra, a resident of Rasulabad Nanpur Garhmukteswar Hapud.

After being caught copying, the team brought Rishabh to the office with the copy and called the police. Rishabh’s copy was sealed after videography in the presence of the police.

SP City Piyush Kumar Singh said, ‘A candidate has been caught copying at a centre. A complaint has been made by the official of the company conducting the exam, a case has been registered. The copy is sealed.

Let us tell you that 31,83,413 candidates from across the country have registered for Delhi Police Constable recruitment. That means there are about 421 contenders for one post. 9,06,890 candidates from UP and Bihar have applied for the exam. Here the exam is going on at 88 centers in 19 cities.
Out of 7547 posts, 4555 posts are unreserved. There are 1301 posts for SC, 810 for EWS, 429 for OBC and 452 for ST.
Delhi Police Sub Inspector recruitment will be next year
Delhi Police CAPF SI Recruitment 2024 notification will be released on 15 February 2024. Applications will be accepted till March 14 and the exam will be held in May-June.
