The Indian squad for the T20 series against Australia has been announced.
Sanju Samson did not get a chance in the team for the Australia tour.
New Delhi. It would not be wrong to call Team India player Sanju Samson the unluckiest. Be it talent, captaincy, wicketkeeping or batting, Samson has a lot of talent, but his luck seems to be causing a rift in his career. Like every time another team was announced for the second Australia series and like every time Sanju Samson was not given priority in the team. The adage of being poor and wet fits Sanju Samson’s career. Already three batsmen had become a wall in front of him, now a new wall has come up in front of him.
After the World Cup, Team India has started preparations for the T20 World Cup. The Indian team has been announced for the T20 series against Australia starting from November 23. Most of the players who were part of the World Cup have been rested in this series. Meanwhile Team B will go to Australia and hoist their flag. Sanju Samson, who was not part of Team India in Asia Cup and World Cup, has also not been selected for this series. Earlier three players stood like a wall in front of him as wicketkeeper. The names of Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul are included in this list.
Pant has been away from cricket for a long time
Team India’s young batsman Rishabh Pant has been away from cricket for a long time. At the end of 2022, Pant was the victim of a horrific accident. After which the hope of Samson’s return to the team increased. But on the other hand, Ishaan Kishan established himself in the team with his brilliant performance. Apart from this, KL Rahul was also in the team. At the same time, Ishan Kishan and Jitesh Sharma have now been selected as wicketkeepers for the series against Australia. Jitesh Sharma has become the fourth wall opposite Sanju Samson. If he performs well in this series, it could be a tough task for Samson in the coming times.

Jitesh Sharma impressed a lot with his performance while batting in the middle order. He scored 309 runs in 14 matches in IPL 2023. In which he played valuable innings for the team many times in difficult times.
