Stock Market Live: The stock market started today with a green signal. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) 30 Sensex opened at 66084 with a gain of 61 points. While Nifty of National Stock Exchange today started the day with an increase of 16 points to 19828 level. Sensex was up 159 points at 66182 in early trade. While it was trading at 19859 level with a jump of 47 points.
Adani Group shares were also in a strong position in early trade. Adani Power, Adani Wilmar, Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Ambuja Cement, NDTV and Adani Green Energy were the green flags. Adani Energy Solutions and ACC saw marginal declines.
Auto stocks among Nifty’s top gainers
Among the Nifty’s top gainers were Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Asian Paints and HDFC Life. On the other hand, Cipla, Ultratech Cement, Hindalco, Dr. Shares of major companies like Reddy and ONGC were among the top losers on the Nifty.

Nifty Pharma and Healthcare Index Red
If we talk about the sectoral indices, Nifty was all green except Pharma and Health Care. Nifty Realty saw the highest gain of 1.09 percent. Nifty had a green light from autos, banks to media.

American markets were upbeat: American markets closed higher on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 184 points to close at 35,273 and the S&P rose 18 points to 4,556. The Nasdaq managed to gain 0.46 or 65 points to close at 14265.
The domestic market was also booming: On the domestic market, the Sensex closed at 66,023.24 points with an increase of 92.47 points in highly volatile trading on Wednesday. It touched a low of 65,664.85 and a high of 66,063.43 during the day’s trade. The Nifty rose 28.45 points to close at 19,811.85 points.
