Gavaskar said, ‘Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin will be number 7 and 8. After this I will pick three fast bowlers which will include Mukesh Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj.

Meanwhile, former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar also selected the playing 11. Manjrekar’s top-6 also matches Gavaskar’s playing 11. He has made some changes in the bowling unit. Manjrekar has gone with four fast bowlers including Shardul Thakur, Prashant Krishna, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj, while as a spinner he has opted for Ravindra Jadeja.
