The relationship between Rekha and actor Kiran Kumar was also a topic of discussion in the corridors of Bollywood for a long time. Many media reports during that time claimed that the reason behind the breakup between Kiran Kumar and Rekha was that the actor was a ‘mamma’s boy’.
According to a magazine in 1975, Rekha said in one of her interviews, “Kiran Kumar is ‘mama’s boy’. Even after growing up, he obeys everything his mother says. I want to spend time with him at night, but he has to be home by 10pm. A glass of milk has to be taken from the mother’s hand. I don’t like his submissive behavior.” After this interview, several media reports claimed that Kiran Kumar did not like Rekha calling him ‘mamma’s boy’ and hence the two parted ways.

Now years later, Kiran Kumar has openly expressed his feelings on this old matter in an interview given to Siddharth Kanan. When Siddharth Kanan asked the actor his side on the matter, he said that he knows nothing about all this and none of it is true. Talking about Rekha, the actor said that she has a heart of gold.
The actor, who was to debut with Jaya Bachchan, gave this answer to the director, the film slipped.
Rekha has not met for years
In the same interview, talking about Rekha and her relationship, Kiran Kumar says that he respects Rekha a lot. Further, when Siddharth Kanan asked the ‘Dhadkan’ actor if he ever wanted to talk to Rekha, to which the actor said that he had not met Rekha for years.
