New Delhi. The Australian team has achieved the honor of becoming the World Cup champion for the sixth time, dashing the hopes of Team India. Pat Cummins’ team won by six wickets in the title match played at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday. In reply, opener Travis Head shared 192 runs with middle-order batsman Marnus Labuschenne for the fourth wicket and gave the Australian team a win. Finally, Head got out. After scoring 137 runs while Lebuschn remained unbeaten after scoring 58 runs and Glenn Maxwell remained unbeaten after scoring 2 runs. Hayden was declared the player of the final. Virat Kohli was the player of the tournament and the highest run-scoring batsman. Mohammed Shami was the highest wicket taker.

India’s ‘bad’ day, Head hit more boundaries than the team hit
After winning the World Cup, Pat Cummins and his team enjoyed a cruise ride on the Sabarmati river in Ahmedabad, the video of which is going viral. Cummins also posed before the media with the tricolor flag along with the World Cup trophy on this cruise. Let us tell you that as a result of this title win of the World Cup 2023, the Australian team has received 40 lakh US dollars (about Rs 33.25 crore) as a prize, while the runner-up Indian team is satisfied with only 20 lakhs.
