The TRP of Anupama serial has been witnessing a drastic decline for the past few weeks. Now call it a coincidence or something else but this drop in TRPs comes after the death of Samar’s character in the show. The serial which was once at the top has been beaten by Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein and Teri Meri Dhoriayan. Now ‘Gam Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein’ is at number one and the serial ‘Teri Meri Doriyan’ is at number two, ‘Anupama’ has moved to number three.
People have stopped watching the show
So what happened in the story after Samar’s death that viewers stopped watching this serial? According to fan pages, things keep getting samey in the Rupali Ganguly starrer serial and that’s why the story is not stopping the viewers.
Samar was one of the few positive characters
Apart from this, the death of Samar in the serial also broke the hearts of the viewers. The character of Samar played by Sagar Parekh was one of the few positive characters in the serial. Anuj was also sidelined after Samar’s death which was not liked by the people.

Not only the audience but also actor Sagar Parekh, who plays the character of Samar, believes this incomparable Samar’s death is the reason for the drop in TRP of the serial. Sagar said that he is not disappointed with the end of his character in the show, but he has worked hard to get into the character.

Sagar said that it was also because people believed that he would not be able to perform the magic of Paras Kalnavat. Sagar Parekh said that viewers were shocked by Samar’s death and received many messages from people. He said people are missing Summer on the show. Sagar said that he misses playing this character.
