After the crushing defeat against Australia in the Perth Test, Pakistan has suffered two more major setbacks. International Cricket Council (ACC) has taken action against Pakistan team for slow over rate in the match. Apart from imposing a fine of 10 per cent of the match fee, the ICC has also deducted two points from the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25. Pakistan suffered a 360-run defeat in Perth, after which Australia took a 1-0 lead in the three-match Test series.
