To which Yamunaji said that brother I have everything, you come to my house on this day every year. Yamaraj said yes. Yamaraj also said that on this day not only me, but the brother who goes to his sister’s house and applies Tilak on her forehead, Yamaraj gives long life to that brother. Since then this festival started to be celebrated.
