Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin has threatened the West with the Yars intercontinental missile system, which is capable of launching mobile nuclear strikes. Currently, Russia has deployed this deadly missile on a maneuver for a month. At least 1,000 troops specializing in missile tactics as well as more than 100 pieces of equipment are being sent to Russia’s Ivanovo region for a major exercise.
This has happened at a time when Russia is confident of victory over Ukraine. According to the Kremlin, Ukraine’s allies have failed to provide sufficient military firepower to President Volodymyr Zelensky. The Yars complex is the most widely used missile system in Putin’s strategic missile force.
