Bihar Teacher Counselling: Due to delay in BRABU exam, candidates are getting stuck in Teacher Counselling. The final examination of PG session 2018-20 in Bihar University was held in the year 2022. During this period, many students took admission in B.Ed in session 2021-23 and cleared the exam. When such candidates are showing their B.Ed certificate of 2021-23, the certificate is being doubted in counseling. A student who came for counseling said that she took admission in Sanskrit subject in PG session 2018-20 in Bihar University. He received the mark sheet from the university on June 19, 2022. Before this he took admission in B.Ed college for session 2021-23. When she went for counselling, she was told how she had taken admission in another regular course while doing one regular course. On that the student said that his session was 2020. He took admission after a year, but his certificate remained in doubt.
The teachers associated with Bihar University say that taking the exam late is the negligence of the university, it is not the fault of any student. Such students cannot combine two regular courses. Controller of Examination Prof. TK Dey said that only watermarked certificate is being checked in BPSC Teacher Counseling, so students should not worry about the certificate.
On the other hand, candidates refrained from bringing photocopies instead of original admit card in the counseling of class 9 and 10 of the ongoing second phase of teacher recruitment in the district. On Wednesday, the DEO said that along with classes 6 to 8, counseling for classes 9 and 10 has also started. CTET certificates of many candidates in class 6 to 8 counseling were found without watermark. CTET certificates of such candidates are set aside. Education department will check the CTET certificate using their roll number. Counseling of these candidates will be done only after the examination. Counseling of teachers from class 6 to 8 has also started from Wednesday.
