BPSC Shikshak bharti: Around 70 vacancies of teachers will be recruited soon in the state. The government has started the preparation for the second phase of teacher recruitment examination. The education department on Wednesday sent a request to the general administration department for appointment to these 70 thousand posts in the next phase of teacher recruitment. The request will be forwarded to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) by the General Administration Department. In this phase, teachers of secondary, secondary and higher secondary schools are to be appointed. In which there are 37,710 posts of secondary-higher secondary teachers. At the same time, there are 31,982 posts of secondary school teachers.

Annual Rs. 5512 crore additional burden The education department has also estimated the financial burden on the state government after the appointment of teachers on 70 thousand posts. After completion of redeployment on 70 thousand posts, there will be an additional expenditure of Rs 5512 crore per annum on their salaries etc.
One lakh ten thousand posts According to an estimate, there are about 40 thousand vacancies in secondary and higher secondary in the ongoing teacher recruitment process. If these posts are also added in the next phase of recruitment, the total number of vacancies will be one lakh and ten thousand. Education department has decided 70 thousand vacancies for the second phase.
According to experts, this announcement may come in the last week of October or the first week of November. The education department has already announced that the responsibility for the second phase of teacher recruitment will be handed over to BPSC. Subjects which have received less candidates than the prescribed vacancies, the vacancies of those subjects will be added in the next recruitment.
