The accident was so dangerous that it ended the entire existence of the actress in the industry. The actress became an overnight star with the superhit film, but she took a break from films after a few years of the blockbuster film. We are talking about ‘Aashiqui’ fame Anu Aggarwal. Not only Anu Aggarwal’s film with Rahul Roy, its songs were also super hits. But, suddenly Anu moved away from the film world.

Anu’s fans were eagerly waiting for her comeback, but then the actress met with an accident that changed her entire life. In fact, Anu was a victim of a road accident, in which the actress suffered a lot of damage to her face. It took a long time for the actress to recover from this accident. But Anu didn’t give up either. After this road accident, Anu went into a coma and was unconscious for about a month.

In 1999, Anu was injured in a car accident, after which his whole world changed. Anu spoke openly about the tragedy in a conversation with E-Times and said – ‘It was not just a difficult time, it was a matter of life and death. I was in a coma. The question was not whether I would recover, the question was whether I would survive. Even if I survive, I may become paralyzed. I was in coma for 29 days, call it a miracle that I came out of coma.

‘After I came out of the coma I was lying on the bed. No one thought I would ever be able to walk. Because, half of my body was paralyzed and I was going through shock. But, I always tried to stay positive. Although in a coma I was fully aware of the outside world. I believed in myself, I knew I would survive. I remember, when I woke up after 29 days, I felt like a newborn baby. But, it took me years to get back on my feet.

Along with this, Anu also told the reason behind leaving the entertainment industry. Anu said- ‘First of all I want to remove the misconception about me that the reason for leaving the entertainment business was an accident. I had already given up on it. At that time, I was super successful. I was going through a different phase then. I was most unhappy when people thought I had everything.
