Stock Market Opening Bell: The second week of November had a great start. The stock market opened with a bumper rally today. Bombay Stock Exchange BSE’s 30-share Sensex opened today up 471 points at 64835, while National Stock Exchange’s Nifty opened the day up 115 points at 19345. All Nifty and Sensex stocks opened in the green.
The Sensex was trading at 64654 with an increase of 290 points in early trade. While Nifty was at 19322 level with a bumper increase of 91 points. 50 stocks of Nifty 50 were trading in the green. The Nifty includes Coal India, JSW Steel, Hero Motors, Adani Enterprises and Bajaj Auto.
How will the market fare this week?
Amid geopolitical concerns, the second quarter results of companies on the domestic front will be very important from a market perspective. If foreign institutional investors do net buying, it can further support the market rally. Because, amid tensions in West Asia and rising interest rates, FPIs took Rs. More than 3,400 crores have been withdrawn. Let us tell you that the Sensex rose by 580.98 points or 0.91 percent last week. At the same time, the Nifty gained 183.35 points or 0.96 percent.
