Diksha Gupta, an employee at Marketing Moves agency in Gurugram, shared a post on LinkedIn after Australia’s 6-wicket win in the World Cup 2023 final. However, he also shared information that the company has given employees a day off to deal with the shock.
She wrote in her post, “This morning, I woke up to a message from my boss asking everyone to take a day off because of the mental damage caused by India’s heartbreaking defeat. It was a surprise. “None of us believed it until then. Official email arrived.”
He also shared screenshots of messages sent by his boss Chirag Alwadhi. It read, “Hello team! Following India’s defeat in the World Cup, we understand the psychological impact it has had on our team members.
