Gaza:
A four-day ceasefire in the month-and-a-half-long war between Israel and Hamas came into force on Friday, but fears over the cease-fire are rife the next day. Hamas’ armed wing said it had decided to delay the second round of hostage releases scheduled for Saturday until Israel allows aid trucks to enter northern Gaza. Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades said the release of the hostages would be delayed if Israel did not comply with agreed terms for releasing Palestinian prisoners.
