HP Jail Warder Recruitment 2023: Jail Warder Recruitment for 91 Jail Warder Posts in Jail and Correctional Services Department in Himachal Pradesh State. It includes 77 male and 14 female warder posts. Candidates can apply for this recruitment from 23 November 2023. The last date to apply is fixed on December 22. This recruitment will be on contract basis. Zone wise Jail Warders are to be recruited. Let us tell you that apart from Himachal, Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Commission has also started the application process from November 21 for the recruitment of various 863 posts. Among these, there are 271 Warder posts in the Jail Department.
Features of Himachal Jail Warder Recruitment
Candidates must have passed 12th to participate in this recruitment.
Age Limit – The age limit for the candidates is fixed between 18 to 28 years. OBC will get two years relaxation, SC and ST will get three years relaxation. Home Guard candidates will get relaxation of three years.

Where how much post
There are 4 vacancies of Male Jail Warder in Bilaspur, 6 in Chamba, 5 in Hamirpur, 17 in Kangra, 1 in Kinnore, 5 in Kullu, 11 in Mandi, 9 in Shimla, 6 in Sirmaur, 7 and 6 in Solan. Whereas, 1 post each of women jail warders will be filled in Bilaspur, Chamba and Hamirpur, Kullu, Sirmaur, Solan, Una, 3 posts in Kangra, 2 posts each in Mandi and Shimla.
Selection Process- Physical Test and Written Test.
Candidates who qualify the physical test will have to appear in the written test. In physical you have to run 1500 meters in six and a half minutes. Women have to run 800 meters in 4.15 minutes. Men have to jump 1.25m high and 4m long while women have to jump 01m high and 3m long.
100 multiple choice questions will be asked in the written exam. There will be multiple choice questions from English, Hindi, General Awareness, Maths, Science, Reasoning Aptitude. Mathematics will be of 10th standard.
