UPSC Interview Tips: UPSC exam is one of the tough exams. After clearing the prelims, mains exam, the last stage of this exam is the UPSC interview, also known as the personality test. In this personality test, the board members decide how much potential the candidates have to become a civil servant.

– IAS officer Abhilasha Abhinav said that when you go for an interview, first of all keep all the documents with you. All your documents will be verified by the officials before the interview. Do not make the mistake of showing wrong documents in such a situation.
– IAS aspirant said board members will not check your knowledge in UPSC interview. He has seen it in the main exam. What kind of person are you and what is your personality? During this time, things like your communication skills, sense of humor, analytical thinking etc. will be noticed.
During the interview it will be seen whether you have leadership qualities or not. If a riot situation arises in your area, how will you get out of it? The leadership quality of the candidates will be tested through several such questions.
– The interview will test your general knowledge on current affairs. Questions related to this will certainly be asked. In such situation, candidates are advised to read newspaper daily.
Along with this, the board members will also examine you psychologically and emotionally and ask many situational questions.
– There is no fixed time in UPSC final interview, some candidates’ interview is over in just 10 minutes while for some it lasts up to 45 minutes. In such a situation, candidates should not think of ending the interview early.
