Suryakumar Yadav will be the captain of Team India
Team India for T20 series against Australia: Team India has been announced for the five-match T20 series between India and Australia starting November 23 in Visakhapatnam. This team will be led by Suryakumar Yadav. Opener Rituraj Gaekwad has been named the team’s vice-captain for the series against Australia, who beat India to become the ODI world champions. Many senior players have been rested for this series. Players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah are not part of this category. While Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav and the famous Krishna who are part of Team India for the World Cup have been included in the team. Apart from this, Shreyas Iyer will join the team for the remaining matches of the series. After Iyer’s arrival, he will replace Ruturaj as the team’s vice-captain.

India have selected only three players from the World Cup squad for the T20 series, including the popular Krishna, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar. Shreyas Iyer will join the team for the last two T20 Internationals and will replace Gaekwad as vice-captain.
Along with this BCCI has also changed the venue for the last two matches of the series. The last two matches of the series will now be played in Raipur and Bengaluru. Earlier these matches were to be held in Nagpur and Hyderabad. Australia has already announced the team led by Matthew Wade.
India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who led the Indian team in T20s in several series this year, will miss the World Cup due to an ankle injury sustained during the league stage match against Bangladesh. While Sanju Samson did not get a place in the team.

Suryakumar Yadav, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Yashwi Jaiswal, Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar, Akshar Patel, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Prasid Krishna, Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar.
