India vs South Africa T20 international series ended in a 1-1 draw. India recorded an emphatic 106-run victory in the third and deciding T20 International match. Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav was selected as player of the match and player of the series. In the third T20 International match against South Africa, Surya played a brilliant innings of 100 runs, followed by Kuldeep Yadav’s five-wicket haul as India beat South Africa by 106 runs. India scored 201 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs against South Africa. Apart from Surya, Yashaswi Jaiswal played an innings of 60 runs. However, apart from these two, no batsman could do anything special. Lizard Williams and Keshav Maharaj took two wickets each from South Africa.
In reply, the South African team was bowled out in just 13.5 overs. Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets for India. On his birthday, Kuldeep made all the South African batsmen dance with his spin. Surya, who scored a fifty in the second T20 international match of the series, scored a century in this match. The most runs came from Surya’s bat in this series. He scored a total of 156 runs in two innings at an average of 78 and a strike rate of 169.57 and was adjudged Player of the Series for this reason. Surya was named Player of the Match for his mighty century.
The second highest run scorer in the series was Rinku Singh who scored 82 runs in two innings, while Yashaswi was third with 60 runs in two innings with the bat. Kuldeep Yadav was the highest wicket-taker in the series, taking a total of six wickets. In the first match, Kuldeep got one wicket while in the second match he took five wickets. Second was Gerald Coetzee, who took three wickets.
