Priyanka Gandhi continues as general secretary in Mallikarjun Kharge’s new team.

BJP has once again targeted the Gandhi family. Taking a jibe at the reshuffle in the Congress organisation, the Bharatiya Janata Party said that not giving any ‘portfolio’ (charge) to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is tantamount to the Gandhi family being irresponsible in the Congress. This should be seen as an opportunity for Rahul Gandhi’s ‘rival camp’. In an organizational reshuffle, the Congress has relieved Kumari Selja and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra from the in-charge of Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh and replaced them with Sachin Pilot and Avinash Pandey respectively. After this, this reaction of BJP has come.

According to a statement issued by Congress organization general secretary KC Venugopal, Priyanka Gandhi remains as general secretary in party president Mallikarjun Kharge’s new team, though she has not been given any state or other responsibility for now. The statement said that Selja has been given the charge of Uttarakhand.
Reacting to this, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) IT chief Amit Malviya said in a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), “Priyanka Vadra should not be given any portfolio (charge). Gandhi family in Congress “She is irresponsible. This should be seen as a promotion and opportunity for Rahul Gandhi’s rival camp.”
Priyanka Vadra not being given the portfolio is in line with the Gandhians being irresponsible in the Congress. It should be seen as a boost and a shot in the arm for Rahul Gandhi’s rival camp.
