Israel and the Palestinian organization Hamas have been fighting a war (Israel Palestine Conflict) since October 7. Israel has also stepped up ground operations in the Gaza Strip to eliminate Hamas. The Israeli army is entering areas of the Gaza Strip one after another. Meanwhile, a senior Israeli official said Israel has no intention of reoccupying the Gaza Strip or controlling it for long. He said that Israeli forces have started their offensive against Hamas in the Palestinian coastal area.
