The employment fair started at 10 am on Friday at the Uttar Pradesh Territorial Service Planning Office. Candidates appeared for the interview after selecting the post according to their qualifications. It also includes B.Tech-MBA pass. 548 posts were to be recruited in the job fair. Nine companies came. In which 479 children participated. Only 114 candidates could be selected. Rank wise few children came to the fair and most of those who came were confused about their goal. A passed out B.Tech student from AKTU, a resident of Sarsaul, came for a salesman job, but did not find it suitable.
At the same time, there were two candidates in the job fair who were at the last stage of the age qualification for the job. Saurav Yadav, a youth resident of Kalyanpur, was duped into becoming a supervisor at Panki Power House, while Babita Bhadauria, a resident of Panki, was promised a job in a Tata company. Also demanded five thousand rupees from both of them. After taking the money, the company officials switched off their phones. Nidhi Verma, assistant director in charge of employment, said that eight companies have been blacklisted.
Job fair in Haridwar on 20th December
Haridwar District Employment Fair will be organized on 20th December. In which Genus Power Infrastructure Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Company will participate. Women candidates will be selected in Mahindra & Mahindra Company and Nippon Life Insurance Company. The educational qualification of the candidates participating in the fair will be graduation. While the age limit has been kept as 18 to 40 years.
District Employment Officer Uttam Kumar said that a job fair will be organized on December 20 at 10 am at Government Industrial Training Institute Campus, Haridwar. Said that there will be interview and selection for 160 posts. Candidates are required to register on the portal of Uttarakhand Employment Department.
