New Delhi. The World Cup 2023 is now in the crucial stage. Apart from India, teams from South Africa, Australia and New Zealand have made it to the final four. India will face New Zealand in the first semi-final of the tournament on November 15. The team of Zealand will face South Africa and Australia on the next day i.e. 16th November. Talking about Team India, they have shocked everyone with their explosive performance. Rohit Sharma’s team has won all their 9 matches with ease and has made it to the semi-finals by staying on top. Ahead of the semi-final matches, two of the world’s leading cricketers – India’s Anil Kumble and Australia’s Matthew Hayden – have selected the World Cup XI, which includes five Indian players.

Both the giants chose India’s Rohit Sharma along with South Africa’s Quinton de Kock as openers. Speaking to ESPNcricinfo, he said, ‘I think de Kock has been a phenomenal player. The reasons for picking Rohit Sharma are obvious. Both of them do a good job of speeding up the score in the power play. Virat Kohli and Rachin Ravindra are ranked third and fourth respectively in their team. Virat has scored 594 runs so far in this tournament while Rachin has scored 565 runs so far.

Maxwell, who scored a century in just 40 balls against the Netherlands, also scored a double century (201 not out) against Afghanistan to lead the team to a charismatic victory. At number six, South Africa’s Henrik Klaasen has managed to get a place in this World Cup XI.
