Maruti’s highest ever quarterly profit, shares of the company hit record highs

The country’s largest car company Maruti Suzuki has posted a standalone net profit of Rs 3716 crore in the September quarter of the current financial year. This is Maruti’s highest ever quarterly profit. Maruti Suzuki’s profit has increased by 80 percent compared to the September quarter of last year. In the September quarter of last year, Maruti Suzuki posted Rs. 2061 crore profit was made. Shares of Maruti Suzuki touched a record high of Rs 10,846.10 on Friday.

The revenue of the company was Rs 37062 crore.
Maruti Suzuki’s revenue rose 24% year-on-year to Rs 37,062 crore in the September quarter of the current financial year. Maruti Suzuki has reported its highest ever quarterly sales volume, net sales and net profit for the September 2023 quarter. Maruti Suzuki’s EBITDA for the July-September 2023 quarter was Rs 4784 crore. At the same time, the margin was 12.9 percent in the September quarter.

In the first half of the year Rs. 6202 crore profit
In the first half of the current financial year, Maruti Suzuki posted Rs. 6202 crores profit has been made. In the first half of the last financial year, the company made Rs. 3074 crore profit was made. In the first half of the current financial year, the company’s net sales stood at Rs. 66,380 crore remained. Net sales jumped 24% compared to the same period a year ago. In the first half of last year, Maruti Suzuki’s net sales stood at Rs. 53,830 crores.

The company sold 5.52 lakh vehicles
The company has sold 5.52 lakh vehicles during the September quarter of the current financial year. There has been an increase of 7% year-on-year. In the July-September 2023 quarter, domestic sales stood at 4.82 lakh units, while 69,324 units were exported. The company had sold 5.17 lakh vehicles in the same period last year.
