Mumbai:
A speeding SUV hits several vehicles at the toll plaza on the Bandra Worli C Link in Mumbai. Three people were killed and six others injured in the mishap.A speeding Toyota Innova car coming towards Bandra collided with a Mercedes at around 10.15 pm on Thursday, just 100 meters before the toll post, police said.

After this, while trying to escape from the spot, the car hit some other vehicles in the toll queue. Because of this six vehicles standing at the toll booth collided with each other and the occupants were injured. All the injured were immediately evacuated and sent to the nearby Bhabha Hospital.
Of the six other people injured, two are in critical condition.
Senior police officer Krishnakant Upadhyay said, “After the collision, the SUV car accelerated and collided with two-three other vehicles at the toll plaza. A total of six vehicles were damaged in the accident. Nine people were injured.” Out of which three have died. Of the other six injured, two are in critical condition.”
Accused Innova driver detained, vehicle also seized
Police said that two women and one man died in this accident. Also, the Innova driver also sustained minor injuries. The accused driver has been detained and the Innova has also been seized.
