BPSC Success Story: Bihar Public Service Commission Civil Services Exam is the toughest exam in the state. Through this exam, candidates get appointment to the most important PCS posts after UPSC like SDM, DSP, Tehsildar and Block Development Officer. People work hard for years to get success in BPSC 67th exam, after that only hopefuls get success. One such talented person is Nagma Tabassum from East Champaran, Bihar. Her selection for the post of SDM is all the more special as she secured 52nd rank in BPSC 67th exam while taking care of two children.

Nagma got the post of SDM of Umma Darshan in the third attempt due to her family responsibilities and constant hard work. This success of Tabassum is a great example for women and daughters who want to achieve something big with family responsibilities. Nagma told local media that she had appeared for the BPSC exam twice before but was not successful. He did not give up and persevered and cleared the BPSC 67th exam for the third time. She said that behind her success was the great support of her husband and her in-laws.

Decided to become a Civil Servant after B.Tech, M.Tech:
Talking about Nagma’s educational background, he has studied till 10th standard from Turkaulia. After this he completed 12th and then B.Tech and M.Tech from Aligarh Muslim University. Nagma is currently a mother to two children, Ifra and Imdad. Among the two children, the daughter is the elder while the son is the younger.

Two things to keep in mind in civil services exam-
There are mainly two tips given to the aspirants who are trying to crack the BPSC 67th Exam. If the rest of the aspirants have the ability to dedicate and work hard, they will surely achieve success one day. The first of Nagma’s two tips is patience – he said that no matter how brilliant you are, if you don’t have the patience to prepare for a long time, it is not possible to succeed in this exam. Even if you fail once or twice, don’t lose patience and keep working hard. His second tip is time management. The way Nagma coped with taking care of two children and family responsibilities is a great example of time management. Thus, candidates should know how to utilize every minute of their precious time.
