Sensex has created another new history today. Sensex has crossed 72000 and Nifty 21500. Today Sensex opened at a new all-time high of 71647 and Nifty also made history and opened at 21543. On Wednesday, the Sensex opened up 210 points, while the Nifty rose 90 points.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Sensex had hit an all-time high of 71623.7. It crossed the 21000 points level on December 8 itself and is now moving towards 22000 thousand. Nifty has seen a tremendous jump of 2900 points in the current year. It stood at 18,105 on 30 December 2022.
The Sensex touched a fresh high of 71832 within minutes of the market opening. In early trade it was at 71819, a jump of 382 points. While Nifty was trading at the level of 21562 with a jump of 109 points. 48 stocks of Nifty 50 were in green mark.
Tech Mahindra among Nifty’s top gainers rose 1.92 percent to Rs. 1306 has been reached. LTI Mind Tree rose 1.48 percent to Rs. was 6203.40. TCS, Wipro and Infosys were also above one percent. While, Mahindra & Mahindra and Maruti were among the Nifty’s top losers.
