Kiwi team made a huge score of 401 runs for 6 wickets in 50 overs on the basis of Rachin Ravindra’s century and captain’s 95 runs. Against this mountain like score, Pakistan team lost their first wicket for just 6 runs. After this, Fakhar Zaman’s innings changed the entire course of the match. He scored a century in just 63 balls to give Pakistan the lead in the match.
Rain halts play, Pakistan win assured
The New Zealand team made a huge score of 401 runs but even after this they may face defeat. The match against Pakistan was interrupted by rain in 21.3 overs and the score was 160 for 1. According to the Duckworth-Lewis rule, Pakistan was leading by 10 runs. In such a case, if rain does not allow the match to proceed, then Pakistan will be declared the winner.
