Kante: This was a multi-starrer film, full of action and thriller. Directed by Sanjay Gupta and written by Milap Zaveri, it was the second highest grossing film of the year. It starred Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Lucky Ali along with Mahesh Manjrekar, Kumar Gaurav, Namrata Singh Gujral, Rati Agnihotri, Esha Koppikar, Malaika Arora and Rohit Roy.
