Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh (Rajnath Singh) said on Monday that the opposition group Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance ‘India’ is falling apart as its constituents are fighting each other. Addressing election rallies in Gwalior (Rural) and Bhojpur (Raisen) assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh, he asked people to ensure that the state ‘does not become a Congress ATM’. He claimed that all Congress governments are tainted with corruption and some of its ministers have already gone to jail, while Bharatiya Janata Party governments have not faced a single charge of corruption.

He said, as the BJP’s base was growing and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was gaining strength, the opposition forces came together to build ‘Bharat’.

Singh said, ‘They formed an alliance only to oppose Modi. But despite coming together they are not united. They are contesting elections against each other.

He said that ‘Bharat’ group is like ‘Bhanumati’s clan’.

There has been a dispute between the Samajwadi Party and the Congress over seat sharing for the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections. Despite being part of the ‘India’ bloc, the two parties are contesting separate elections.

Attacking the Congress’ administrative capabilities, Singh said the party’s governments in Karnataka, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh were finding it difficult to pay salaries to their employees on time.

He said, “No one can have such complaints under BJP rule. BJP knows the art of running a government. We consider the public as ‘Janardhan’ while the Congress considers its families as ‘Janardhan’.

He said Madhya Pradesh was a ‘sick’ state when the BJP came to power in 2003, but now it is developing rapidly. He said that what the Congress could not do in more than 50 years, the ruling party has done in a few years.
