Sudha Murthy’s son-in-law Rishi Sunak is also the Prime Minister of Britain. She is also the wife of Narayan Murthy, who founded the country’s largest IT company, Infosys. Sudha Murthy was honored with Padma Shri in 2006 and Padma Bhushan in 2023 by the Government of India. Sudha Murthy’s stories are also very popular for children.

Sudha Murthy wrote a book of stories titled ‘Grandparent’s Bag of Stories’ last year. This book was published by Penguin Publications. Now animated videos are being made on this book of stories. Sudha Murthy will also have an animated character in these stories. A showcase has been started in this regard from October 31.
The showcase features 52 stories that entertain children and teach them deep life lessons. These stories will be conveyed to children in an animated form. These stories will be made in 5 Indian languages. It includes languages like Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. Talking to The Hindu, Sudha Murthy said, ‘I have written stories on the book. Now I am done from here. After this, my daughter-in-law Aparna Krishnan took the entire responsibility of making the video. The whole brain behind this is his.

Talking about this initiative, Aparna said, ‘People gave a lot of love to Sudha Murthy’s stories. After this, we thought that such content could be made available to children in a wider range. Although there is no dearth of content for children, these stories will not only entertain children but also teach them deep life lessons. We have worked hard for this for 2 years. We want to present everything correctly.
Aparn also shared his vision on stories. Aparna says, ‘We want to take these stories to every village. The characters in these stories will be animated. This will entertain the children and also give them an opportunity to learn. These stories will also have the character of Sudha named Sudha Amma. Kids will love this animated character.
