Pakistan Pakistan’s Punjab government on Tuesday announced a four-day public holiday in several districts of the most populous province, including the provincial capital Lahore, to reduce the impact of smog. An official gave this information. The official said that this public holiday has been declared from November 9 to 12. “To reduce the impact of smog, a four-day holiday has been declared in Lahore, Gujranwala and Hafizabad divisions of Punjab,” Punjab Acting Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said at a press conference here.
