Petrol Price November 9: On the one hand, the war between Israel and Hamas is intensifying, while on the other hand, crude oil prices are falling rapidly. Today, crude oil prices have fallen below $80 per barrel. Meanwhile, government oil marketing companies like IOC, Bharat Petroleum have also announced new rates of petrol and diesel.
Crude oil, which crossed $130 per barrel during the Russia-Ukraine war, has fallen to $50 per barrel today and dropped below $80 amid the Israel-Hamas war. Brent crude for January futures settled at $79.92 a barrel, despite a slight increase today, according to Bloomberg Energy. While December WTI crude futures are at $75.71 per barrel.

What was the impact on petrol and diesel?
There has been no change in petrol and diesel prices today. This is the 542nd consecutive day when petrol in Delhi has remained stable at Rs 96.72 per liter and diesel at Rs 89.62. Petrol price in Chennai is Rs 102.63 and diesel price is Rs 94.24. In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per litre.
Even today the cheapest petrol in the country is in Port Blair. Here, one liter of petrol costs Rs 84.10 and diesel costs Rs 79.74. On the other hand, petrol is the most expensive in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar. Here the price of one liter of petrol is Rs 113.48.
