Rachin Ravindra has scored 522 runs in 8 innings in World Cup 2023. He is on his way to breaking two records for the most runs in the World Cup. This is Racine’s first ODI World Cup. Jonny Bairstow holds the record for most runs in his first World Cup, scoring 532 runs in 11 innings in 2019. Rachin Ravindra is now just 11 runs away from breaking Jonny Bairstow’s record.
Rachin is yet to play at least one match in the tournament. If the New Zealand team defeats Pakistan, their place in the semi-finals will almost be assured.
