Rachin Ravindra’s third century, a World Cup feat that Sachin-Virat-Rohit could not do.

New Delhi. Rachin Ravindra has scored his third century in World Cup 2023. New Zealand’s Racine played a huge innings of 108 runs in a very important match against Pakistan. Rachin Ravindra has previously scored centuries against Australia and England which shows that he is a big match player. Due to this great innings, Rachin Ravindra is going to make a record in his name which can be a dream of any cricketer. This is the record for most runs scored in the World Cup.

Rachin Ravindra has scored 522 runs in 8 innings in World Cup 2023. He is on his way to breaking two records for the most runs in the World Cup. This is Racine’s first ODI World Cup. Jonny Bairstow holds the record for most runs in his first World Cup, scoring 532 runs in 11 innings in 2019. Rachin Ravindra is now just 11 runs away from breaking Jonny Bairstow’s record.

Rachin is yet to play at least one match in the tournament. If the New Zealand team defeats Pakistan, their place in the semi-finals will almost be assured. If this happens, Racine will get a chance to play more matches in the World Cup. If that happens, Rachin Ravindra will have two chances to break the record for the most runs scored in his first World Cup. If New Zealand play the final, it can be assumed that Rachin will get a chance to bat at least three more times.

Rachin Ravindra has also reached the second position in terms of scoring the most runs in the World Cup 2023. Only Quinton de Kock could score more runs than him. De Kock has scored 545 runs in 7 innings at an average of 77.85. De Kock has scored 4 centuries in this World Cup.
