RCB Squad IPL 2024: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have finalized a 25-man squad. RCB had 6 vacant slots, which they filled in the IPL 2024 auction on Tuesday. RCB, who entered the auction with 23.25 crores, picked up three foreign players. An amount of Rs 2.85 crore is still due in the franchisee’s purse. RCB spent the most money on West Indies fast bowler Alzari Joseph. Alzari was bought for 11.50 crore rupees. Its original price was one crore.
There was a fierce bidding war for Alzari between Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Bangalore bought fast bowler Yash Dayal for Rs 5 crore. Dayal was wanted by his previous franchise Gujarat Titans (GT) but RCB did not back down. For GTA Dayal Rs. 4.80 crore bids. At the same time, RCB made a financial purchase in the form of fast bowler Lockie Ferguson. RCB included New Zealander Ferguson in the team at his base price of Rs 2 crore.
