Veteran investor Rekha Jhunjhunwala has bagged a big deal. Rekha Jhunjhunwala’s firm Kinnteisto LLP raised about Rs. 740 crore commercial office space has been purchased. Jhunjhunwala’s firm has bought over 1.94 lakh square feet of office space in the country’s most expensive business district, Bandra Kurla Complex (BMC) and Chandivali area. This has been said in a report of Money Control. Rekha Jhunjhunwala is the wife of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, known as the ‘Big Bull’ of the stock market. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala passed away on 14 August 2022.
Purchased 68195 sq. ft. land in Chandivali area
The deal is one of the biggest commercial deals in recent years. Kanakia Space Realty Pvt Ltd is the seller of the office space that Rekha Jhunjhunwala’s company has bought in Chandivali area. Kankia Spaces has 68195 sq ft carpet area at Rs. Sold for 137.99 crores. The deal also includes 110 car parking slots in the commercial office Boomerang building.

1.26 lakh sq ft area has been taken up in Bandra Kurla Complex
As for the Bandra Kurla Complex (BMC), Rekha Jhunjhunwala’s firm has taken up about 1.26 lakh sq ft built-up area over four floors in a building called The Capital. The deal at the Bandra Kurla complex is worth around Rs 601 crore and includes 124 car parking slots. Jhunjhunwala’s firm has purchased this office space from Wadhwa Group Holdings Pvt. Both deals were signed in October 2023. For registration of properties in Bandra Kurla Complex, buyers have to pay Rs. 36.06 crore has paid stamp duty. According to the latest corporate shareholding, Rekha Jhunjhunwala holds shares in 25 companies, worth Rs. 35687.6 crores is over.
