“Resolve contaminated water complaint in 48 hours”: Atishi tells Delhi Jal Board

He said, “It is the Jal Board’s responsibility to ensure that every resident of Delhi has access to clean and adequate water. The CEO of the Jal Board should ensure that the issue of contaminated water is resolved within 48 hours and a compliance report is also given on the same.

According to another news, water supply will be disrupted in many areas of Delhi including Rohini on Wednesday and Thursday. The Delhi Jal Board said that many areas of the national capital would be without water on Wednesday and Thursday due to the closure of water ‘interconnection’ at Keshopur and Peeragarhi Chowk.

On November 29 and 30, the board said on the social media platform that water supply will be disrupted in Park, Janakpuri and its surrounding areas.

The board said that due to closure of ‘interconnection’ between Keshopur Nala and Peeragarhi (Rohtak Road) on November 29 from 10 am to 10 pm, there will be no water or low pressure water in these areas.

The board said that people are hereby requested to store water as per their requirement. He also said that water tankers would be made available only on request.
