New Delhi. Indian cricket team’s young opener Rituraj Gaikwad scored a record breaking century against Australia in Guwahati T20. Gaikwad scored an unbeaten 123 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium. Gaikwad’s maiden T20 International century saw India score 222 for 3. The 26-year-old Gaikwad has become the first Indian to score a century against Australia in T20 international cricket. Neither Virat Kohli nor Rohit Sharma, the former captain of Team India, could achieve this milestone. Ruturaj Gaekwad completed his century by hitting a six off Glenn Maxwell. This is Gaikwad’s first century in T20 international cricket.

Ruturaj Gaekwad scored an unbeaten 123 against Australia (IND vs AUS) in 57 balls with the help of 13 fours and 7 sixes. He completed his century in 52 balls. November 28 has become a very special day for Gaikwad. Exactly one year ago today i.e. on 28 November 2022, he scored a double century against Uttar Pradesh in the quarter final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
