Directed by Prashant Neil, ‘Saalar: Part One – Ceasefire’ made a historic debut at the box office. In India alone, Salaar has grossed ₹95 crore so far. The film stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. Amid the buzz about the film, senior actor Chiranjeevi congratulated Prabhas and Salaar’s team.

Prabhas has played the role of Deva/Salar. Prithviraj Sukumaran has played the role of Varadaraj Mannar. Jagapathi Babu is seen in the role of Rajamannar. While Shruti Haasan has appeared in Salaar. The film is made under the banner of Humble Films. Ravi Basrur of KGF fame has composed the soundtrack.
Salaar will release in two parts
Let us tell you that Salaar is going to be released in two parts. The first part is named Salaar: Part 1 – Truce while the second part is called Shauryang Parva. The film was released on 22 December in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. It is competing with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Gadheda at the box office.
Based on the chaotic world of Khansar, the film tells the story of two childhood friends. Deva promises that she will always be with Vardha whenever and wherever she needs him. But in the sequel of this film, it will be known why these once close friends turned into enemies.
