SBI Clerk Notification 2023: Country’s largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Associate posts in clerical cadre. A total of 8283 posts have been released. Among the vacancies, 3515 are unreserved. 1284 are reserved for SC, 748 ST, 1919 OBC and 817 EWS category. Online application process will start from tomorrow 17th November 2023. Interested candidates can visit sbi.co.in and apply till 7th December. According to the notification, the SBI Clerk Tier-1 exam will be held in January 2024 and the mains exam in February 2024.

1. As per notification, candidates can apply for only one state. Before applying, make sure you have a good knowledge of the local language (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) of the state you are applying for.
2. Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university or institution of higher learning. Final year students can also apply. But ensure that the degree is obtained on or before December 31, 2023.
3. Age limit
20 years to 28 years. Candidates should not have been born before 2nd April 1995 and not after 1st April 2003. Age will be calculated from 1st April 2023. SC and ST categories will be given age relaxation by five years and OBCs by three years.
5. Salary – Rs. 17,900 – Rs. 47,920. Basic Salary Rs. 19,900.
6. Selection Process – First of all there will be online preliminary exam. Candidates who pass this will be called for online mains exam. Candidates who qualify the main examination will have to go through the local language test.
7. PATTERN OF PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
The exam will be of 1 hour duration with a total of 100 objective type questions related to English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. 100 marks will be fixed for preliminary examination. There will be 30 marks for English section and 35 marks for Numerical and Reasoning. Candidates have to solve the questions of one hour and one section in about 20 minutes for the entire exam.
8. One quarter mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the preliminary examination.
