SBI Q2 Result 2023: Public sector State Bank of India (SBI) reported a 9.13% rise in net profit in the second quarter of the current financial year to Rs. 16,099.58 crores. In the same quarter of last financial year, the bank had Rs. 14,752 crore in net profit. The bank said its net profit on a standalone basis for the quarter under review stood at Rs. 14,330.02 crore as compared to Rs. 13,264.52 crores.

In the quarter under review, the total income of the bank was Rs. 1.12 lakh crore which in September 2022 quarter was Rs. 88,733 crores. SBI has one-fifth of the total market share and has the largest network in the country. The bank’s gross NPA (non-performing assets) stood at 2.55 per cent of gross loans at the end of September 2023, from 3.52 per cent at the end of September last year and 2.76 per cent at the end of the current first quarter. financial year.
