SoftBank Sells Shares: Japanese group SoftBank on Friday acquired 2.5 per cent stake in integrated logistics provider Delhivery through an open market transaction for Rs. 739 crore was sold. According to bulk deal data available with NSE, SoftBank through its associate SVF Doorbell (Cayman) Ltd sold 1,83,05,480 shares, equivalent to 2.5 per cent stake in Delhivery. The disposal of shares averaged Rs. 403.51 was done at a price of Rs. 738.64 crores.
After this transaction, SoftBank’s stake in Delhivery has come down from 14.46 percent to 11.96 percent. In March, SoftBank bought a 3.8 percent stake in Delhivery through an open market transaction for Rs. 954 crore was sold. Let us tell you that on Friday, the shares of Delhivery fell by 2.05 percent. Shares of Delhivery opened at ₹407 and fell over 2 percent to an intraday low of ₹398.75.
What were the results for the September quarter: Delhivery on November 4 declared its July-September quarter results for the financial year 2023-24. The loss has narrowed compared to ₹254 crore in the same period last year. This is ₹103 crore outstanding. Thus a sharp decrease of 51 percent was recorded. The company’s income from operations rose 8 percent to ₹1,914 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal from ₹1,796 crore in the same period last year.
