The stock market has started breaking records today. The Sensex opened at an all-time high of 70804 with a surge of 289 points, while the Nifty 50 opened the day’s trade with a gain of 104 points at 21287. This is the first time Sensex has opened above 70800. The Sensex touched a new high of 70853.56 in early trading. Let us tell you that the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 158 points to 37248, while the S&P 500 rose 12 points or 0.26% to 4,719. The Nasdaq Composite closed up 27 points, or 0.19%, at 14,761.
