Sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik created a sand art of Santa Claus using onions on Puri’s Blue Flag beach with the message ‘Give plants a gift, keep the earth green’ on the eve of Christmas. Sudarshan Patnaik told news agency ANI that two tonnes of onions have been used in making this huge art. He said, “Every year, during Christmas, we try to make some different sculpture at Puri’s Blue Flag Beach. This time the Santa Claus art we made is 100 feet long, 20 feet high and 40 feet wide. Huge.
