New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has leveled the three-match T20 series against South Africa 1-1. In the third and final match played in Johannesburg, India lost the toss and scored 201 for 7 on the back of captain Suryakumar Yadav’s century. Chasing the target, Kuldeep Yadav bowled lethally and took 5 wickets to push the entire team to just 95 runs.
On December 14, the Indian team came to play a three-match T20 series against South Africa. Host captain Aiden Markram won the toss and elected to bowl first against India. After dismissing Shubman Gill and then Tilak Verma early, the Proteas bowlers managed to put pressure on the Indian team.
After slowing down the batting for some time, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav exploded. With the help of 7 fours and 8 sixes, this batsman completed the innings of 100 runs. He was joined by Yashaswi Jaiswal who scored 60 runs with the bat. India scored 201 runs for 7 wickets.
Kuldeep was devastated
The Indian team got off to a good start against South Africa with Mukesh Kumar scoring the first breakthrough. After this, Arshdeep Singh and then Ravindra Jadeja took wickets. Kuldeep Yadav’s spin did all the work after 4 wickets fell. He took 5 wickets for just 17 runs in 2.5 overs. He ended the match by clean bowling David Milner, who was batting at one end, for 35 runs. India won by a huge margin of 106 runs and leveled the series 1-1.
