5 players dropped from T20 series can prove to be game changers

New Delhi. The teams of India and Australia are now going to clash in the T20 series. The first T20 match of the series will be played in Visakhapatnam on November 23. The Indian selectors have already announced Team India for this series. In the absence of Hardik Pandya, the team has been handed over to Suryakumar Yadav. Rituraj Gaikwad will hold the responsibility of vice captaincy. The selectors have made some surprising decisions during this period. Veteran leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ryan Parag, Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson have been left out of the squad. Bhuvi recently bowled brilliantly in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, while Ryan scored a record 7 consecutive fifties.

Last month in October, he played an innings of 61 against Bihar while he scored an unbeaten 76 against Services. Scored 53 not out against Sikkim and 72 against Himachal Pradesh. He overtook Sehwag’s record of 6 consecutive half-centuries by scoring an unbeaten 57 against Kerala and an unbeaten 50 against Bengal in the last match. Parag scored the highest 510 runs at a strike rate of 182 in 10 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy matches.

Chahal was again sidelined
Veteran leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, India’s leading wicket-taker in T20s, was not picked in the squad for the first ODI World Cup and has now also been left out of the T20 series against Australia. Ravi Bishnoi has got a place in the team in place of Chahal. Abhishek Sharma who is a left arm spin bowler from Punjab also did not get a place. Abhishek scored 485 runs in 10 matches of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Jitesh has got a chance to replace Sanju Samson
Wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson did not perform well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy but we all know what kind of player he is. Sanju scored 138 runs in 8 matches playing for Kerala. During this time he also scored 2 half-centuries but the selectors saw fit to include Jitesh Sharma in the team in his place. Sanju Samson was earlier barred from Asia Cup, Asian Games and World Cup.
