Australia vs Pakistan: On the second day of the second Test of the three-match series, Australia made a strong comeback and put Pakistan completely on the backfoot. The first day of the Test match, which started at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Boxing Day, was hampered by rain. On the first day, Australia scored 187 runs for three wickets in 66 overs. The next day, Pakistan bowled out Australia for 318 in the first innings and in reply at one point Pakistan’s score was 124 for one wicket, but from here the match took a terrible turn. Pat Cummins came in and caught and bowled set batsman Abdullah Shafiq to give Pakistan another blow at 124 runs. Cummins clean bowled Pakistan’s star batsman and former captain Babar Azam in his very next over.
Babar Azam was dismissed for just one run off seven balls and his flop show continued in the current Test series against Australia. The ball on which Pat Cummins clean bowled Babar was an inbound ball, which Babar could not read at all. The ball hit the stumps and Babar was watching. From 124 runs for one wicket, Pakistan’s score was reduced to 131 runs for three wickets.

Pakistan’s first innings collapse seemed to have started here, after captain Shan Masood was dismissed for 54 after playing an irresponsible shot off Nathan Lyon. Saeed Shakeel’s wicket went to Josh Hazlewood and Pakistan lost their fifth wicket for 151 runs. Pakistan has received its sixth blow in the form of Agha Salman. His wicket also went to captain Pat Cummins. Pakistan lost their sixth wicket for 170 runs. Australia has made a strong comeback in the match. The first Test match was played in Perth in which Pakistan lost by 360 runs.
