The trailer of the film shows an Indian leader telling a meeting that if everything is going on normally then let it go on normally. To this Sam replies, “My soldiers don’t want to be normal. My soldiers want to win and I want to… win.”
“What could be more Indian?”
There is another scene in the trailer in which a soldier asks Sam if Jinnah Sahib himself has asked him to join the Pakistan Army. What did you think about this? To this Sam replies, “I was born in Amritsar, my wife is from Bombay, I work in Delhi… What could be more Indian?”
“Can’t or won’t he?”
In one scene, Indira Gandhi asks Sam if he wants to do something. In response Sam says what do you think? On this Indira says you can’t. Sam replied, “Can’t or won’t. There’s a difference in ability and intention… Prime Minister.”

Sam Bahadur, who also gave blunt answers to politicians, is shown saying at a political meeting, “This is a war. This is what I and my soldiers are trained for. You handle the politics you are trained for.”
“Army discipline is its foundation”
After some army training scenes Vicky Kaushal In Sam’s look, he is seen speaking many harsh dialogues. In one scene he said, “The discipline of the army is its foundation. Do not shake the foundation of the army… Minister.”
“…We will always be proud of this uniform.”
After several battle scenes, Sam Bahadur is shown in the trailer saying, “We live or die, our uniform will always be proud.”
“…and I would never give that order.”
There is a scene at the end of the trailer that shows how Sam has been with his training. In a speech to the army after the battle, Sam said, “From this day forward no officer or soldier will retreat from his post. And I will never give such an order.”
