More than 32 cases have been reported
Godara, a resident of Lungaran, Bikaner, has not been traced to the US and is believed to be somewhere in Canada, but his exact whereabouts are yet to be known. More than 32 cases have been registered against him in various police stations in India. According to sources, Godara used this method to move from one place to another and then to Canada before landing in America. What is ‘Dunky Flight’?
A ‘donkey flight’ is an illegal route across the border between two countries, through which one can gain entry from one country to the other. When some people cannot enter the country through legal means, they usually resort to illegal means. With the help of ‘Donkey Flight’ they illegally reach the country they want to go to. According to sources, Godara used this method to travel from one country to another and then to Canada before landing in America.
Killing of Gogamedi
On December 5, Rajasthan’s Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was drinking tea with four others at his Jaipur home in the afternoon. In the middle of the conversation, two men got up from the chair and fired indiscriminately at Gogamedi, leaving him bleeding on the ground. One of the three shooters was also killed during the shootout at Gogamedi’s house. A security guard of Gogamedi was seriously injured in the firing. Godara, closely associated with both the Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi gangs, has claimed responsibility for Gogamedi’s murder.
Godara wrote on social media, “I am Rohit Godara Kapoorsari, brother of Goldie Brar. Today we take full responsibility for the killing of Sukhdev Gogamedi. He (Gogamedi) was supporting our enemies.”
According to the police, Godra used to run an extortion racket against traders in Rajasthan, demanding Rs 5 crore to Rs 17 crore. He is also the prime accused in the murder of gangster Raju Thehat in Sikar last year.
Conspiracy formed in Canada
Sources have said that the mastermind behind the plot to kill Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was Rajasthani gangster Rohit Godara, who is suspected to be based in Canada, and Goldie Brar, who was linked to the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala last year. Lawrence Bishnoi has close ties with the gang. Sources said that Godara assigned the responsibility of killing Gogamedi and appointing the shooter to Virendra Charan.
